YOUNG’S OYSTER SHED HOSTS ‘BATTLE OF THE CHAMPIONS’ MASTERCHEF DINNER

Battle lines are drawn as two MasterChef heavyweights prepare to face-off for an exclusive dinner this September at riverside pub The Oyster Shed. Taking place on Friday 30th September at 7pm, the Young’s pub will host a one-off ‘Battle of the Champions’ supper club as The Oyster Shed’s Head Chef and 2013 MasterChef champion, Natalie Coleman, takes on fellow 2016 winner Jane Devonshire for a six-course feast.

With iconic views over the Thames towards London Bridge, experience what promises to be an interactive evening as the two MasterChef winners take to the stove for a special six-course tasting menu. Vying to the crowned the champion, Natalie Coleman and Jane Devonshire will each create three dishes as a blind tasting, ending in true cook-off style with diners voting for the dish of night. 

Expect dishes including Crab and brown shrimp cakes with squid with tomato mayonnaise and Loin of venison, haunch of venison bon bon, pomegranate roasted beetroot with new potato fondant, cavolo nero and carrot, with optional wine pairings. During the evening, guests will also have the chance to meet both Natalie and Jane as the winners tell tales of their culinary journey and inspiration.
