With India’s brightest festival, Diwali (24th October), just around the corner, Executive Chef Vivek Singh and his team are marking the special occasion with celebratory menus at The Cinnamon Club and Cinnamon Kitchen City, available from 17th – 30th October, as well as a decadent four-course meal kit to be enjoyed at home.

DIWALI AT HOME

Looking for a fuss-free celebration at home? The Diwali Meal Kit features four expertly prepared courses from The Cinnamon Club, ready to be finished off and enjoyed at home. Expect an assortment of marinated meats and seafood – from slow cooked Kentish lamb to tandoori spiced grilled king prawns – alongside Bengali beetroot cake and Bhel papdi chaat with a mango shrikhand for pudding. Delivered in a temperature-controlled box with easy-to-follow instructions for reheating, the kit is priced at £140 for four people to share with champagne available at an additional cost. CINNAMON KITCHEN CITY

An oasis of colour in Devonshire Square, Cinnamon Kitchen City is marking the Festival of Light with a celebratory nine-course sharing feast for just £42 per person (minimum of two sharing). Kick celebrations off with a specially created festival cocktail before tucking into dishes of Goan stir-fried shrimps, grilled pink aubergine with peanut crumble, samosa chaat and the restaurant’s signature dish, Kashmiri-style lamb Rogan Josh. 

THE CINNAMON CLUB

Pulling out all the stops is The Cinnamon Club, where diners can enjoy a decadent five-course sharing feast amongst the book-lined shelves of the Grade-II Old Westminster Library for £65 per person. Begin with a festive cocktail and delicious Diwali canapes – think moreish nibbles of shammi kebab and chickpea and yoghurt gnocchi – before indulging in dishes of jackfruit and lotus root kebab, Kokum crusted halibut, Old Delhi style butter chicken and clove smoked saddle of lamb. Finish with a trio of Diwali sweet treats, coffee and petit fours.
