Dungeon Defenders: Awakened Conquers PlayStation Consoles Today

Dungeon Defenders: Awakened, the epic return of Chromatic Games’ multimillion-selling tower defense action RPG series, plants a victory flag on its final platform, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 via backwards compatibility, today. Take up arms with fellow battle-hardened heroes to fend off vicious fiends before they corrupt Etheria’s precious crystals. Strategically plant traps as well as defensive towers to halt the hordes in their tracks. Once the battlefield has been laid, spring into action by picking off ruthless goblins, orcs, and other devious creatures one by one until all piles of powerful loot are collected and the dungeons finally cleared.

Master each hero’s distinct weapons, towers, and fighting styles. Trick unsuspecting foes with skills like the Huntress’ sneaky traps, the Squire’s massive blockades, or the Warden’s overwhelming minion summoning. Customize each hero’s personal playstyles, fine-tuning vitality, power, range, among other stats to get an extra edge on every battle.

Reap the spoils of victory to upgrade armor, weapons, and accessories for the formidable fights that lie ahead. Take the Defenders into seven distinctive game modes with local or online multiplayer. Solo Defenders can go on a gripping multi-arc story campaign full of twists and turns through inspired and imaginative classic fantasy environments.

“Reviving this classic IP and getting to know everyone who loves defending dungeons has been the experience of a lifetime for our team,” said Alec Saare, Creative Director, Chromatic Games. “We have even more plans for the Dungeon Defenders series planned for the future, so stay tuned Etheria!”

Dungeon Defenders: Awakened is available now on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 via backwards compatibility for $29.99 with English language support. More language options are planned for future content updates.
