MomoCon 2022 Returns to Atlanta May 26-29    Featuring a Wrestling Ring, Gaming Tournaments, Autograph Sessions with Popular Voice Actors, and More

MomoCon 2022 returns to Atlanta following a two-year break with gaming tournaments, a wrestling championship, voice actors from gaming and anime’s most popular titles, and more.    From Thursday, May 26, to Sunday, May 29, 2022 fans of gaming and pop culture will take over Georgia World Congress Center, filling the largest gaming floor of any convention in the Southeastern US. ‌  

This year, guests will rejoice in the presence of special guests including Charles Martinet, (the voice behind the Mario and Luigi brothers in the Super Mario franchise since 1992), Bill Farmer (voicing Walt Disney’s Goofy since 1987), Steve Downes (Halo’s Master Chief), Jen Taylor (Cortana on the upcoming Halo TV series, RWBY’s Salem), and more.   Watch panels featuring the cast of popular anime shows My Hero Academia, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Teen Titans, and Samurai Jack, catch the best and most elaborate costumes at Friday’s Cosplay Showcase, join in a live podcast session from popular YouTube creators RebelTaxi, and more.  

Participate in one of the many gaming tournaments throughout the weekend including Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Rivals of Aether, Brawlhalla, Dragonball FighterZ, Tekken 7, Guilty Gear Strive, and Smash Ultimate. Open to all guests, the Smash Ultimate tournament offers a $5,000 pot prize for a lucky winner.   Wrestling enthusiasts can catch exciting matches at the Stranglehold Championship Wrestling, while Disney fans can join a host of singers belting out to their favorite Disney tunes at the Disney Singing Contest Finale.  

Guests looking for a more relaxing attraction can join the Triforce Quartet for an unforgettable musical journey featuring tunes from the most popular gaming franchises using traditional string quartet instruments.   Tickets are available now. Multi-day passes for the entire weekend are USD $70.00. Single-day passes are USD $35.00 for Thursday or Sunday, USD $40.00 for Friday, and USD $50.00 for Saturday. Masks are required in all indoor areas of MomoCon 2022.
