The artist Antonio Azzato, creator of the urban project “Velázquez’s infinite message”, for the fourth consecutive year, collaborates with Volvo Cars, capturing his artistic design in the XC60 model.

The SUV model participating in this edition, Volvo XC60, has spectacular vinyl designed by Antonio Azzato (Volvo ambassador and creator of the exhibition) alluding to the nature of plug-in hybrids and the ‘Meninas Madrid Gallery’ exhibition. It thus becomes a living traveling museum to which the inhabitants and visitors of the city of Madrid are invited to discover.

After the success of previous editions, the artist Antonio Azzato, creator of the famous urban art exhibition ‘Meninas Madrid Gallery’ (MMG), wants to continue expanding its scope, promote interaction between the Meninas and citizens, and make art be part of people’s daily lives. Likewise, this initiative is once again promoted by the Madrid City Council within the framework of ‘Madrid Capital de Moda’ in collaboration with ACOTEX (Business Association of Textile and Accessories Trade).

Madrid is being the setting for the fourth edition: ‘Meninas Madrid Gallery’ (MMG) 2021 ‘A window to the world’, from November 1 to December 15. The Conde Duque Cultural Center Auditorium was the place chosen to welcome the exhibition.

As part of this edition dedicated to Madrid ‘A window to the world’, the Embassy of the Dominican Republic, the Embassy of Panama and the Embassy of Brazil are released, all of them represented by meninas with designs from each land, exalting the respective communities that make Madrid a meeting point between cultures. In addition, in this fourth year, on the occasion of the celebration of the Xacobeo Year, a special menina will be created: the pilgrim menina. In addition, numerous artists from different disciplines join with designs to continue adding value to our society through art and its messages.

On the other hand, as is tradition, there will be a charity auction of the sculptures that will take place at the end of the exhibition. On this occasion, it will continue to add aid paying special attention to those affected by the eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano, on the island of La Palma.
