Cinnamon Kitchen City Launches New BBQ Brunch

Date:

With glorious sunshine predicted for the foreseeable future, venture to the Cinnamon Kitchen City’s beautiful al-fresco terrace, just minutes from Liverpool Street, where acclaimed chef Vivek Singh has created two brand-new brunch menus celebrating the noble barbecue!

Available Friday to Sunday from 15th July, guests can enjoy a nine-course sharing feast for just £29 per head (a la carte also available), both with the option of adding on 90 minutes of bottomless beer for an extra £19 – cheers to that!

The feast, perfect for groups of two or more, begins with plates of grilled pink aubergine with mint labneh, samosa chaat, salmon akuri – masala scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and layered paratha – and venison chapli kebab with smoked paprika raita.  Follow with a veritable feast of chicken seekh kebeb masala, char-grilled sea bass in a lentil and coconut sauce as well as Cinnamon’s famous dish of Welsh lamb Roganjosh, served with black lentils and pilau rice. A dessert of royal malai kulfi, served with saffron and cardamom, provides the perfect ending to the barbecue banquet.

If sharing isn’t your style, order individual dishes from Cinnamon Kitchen City’s a la carte barbecue menu where showstopping plates of chargrilled lamb chops with garlic, chilli & mint and tandoori achari cauliflower are served alongside East meets West brunch classics. Highlights include masala omelette served with toasted brioche, and Anglo-Indian kedgeree served with smoked haddock and egg. Once again, desserts aren’t an afterthought. Indulge in sweet treats of ginger toffee pudding with cinnamon ice cream, chilli chocolate mousse with banana ice cream or a gulab jamun cheesecake, served in a passionfruit sauce.
