Ganymede presents: The BTA Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Street Party

Date:

Elevated British bar and dining room, Ganymede in Belgravia, invites you to a super stylish star-studded street party on Sunday, 5th June to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. In collaboration with the Belgravia Traders Association (BTA), the free-to-attend street party will take place around the corner from Buckingham Palace on the aptly named Elizabeth Street. Expect a smattering of famous locals amongst lords and ladies alongside superlative food and plenty of quintessentially British activities, from horse and carriage rides to Punch & Judy!

Running from 11am – 6pm, the street will be decked in sensational bunting courtesy of Belgravia-based interior designer Joanna Wood whilst Summerill & Bishop are creating table decorations fit for any queen.

Food and drink, fit for royalty, is from the team at Ganymede. Pull up a seat amongst the action at one of the long tables along Elizabeth Street and tuck into platinum plates featuring luxurious lobster rolls, epic Coronation Chicken and loaded summer salads. Pair with the finest English fizz from Coates & Seely, served from the brand’s iconic 1948 Leyland Bus or head to Ganymede’s al fresco bar for the likes of Allsopps Pale Ale, Tidal Rum cocktails, Wignac Cider and a seasonal Reverend Hubert Garden Gin Summer Fizz. A specially curated list by Liberty Wines will showcase the best wines from the Commonwealth, to complete the celebratory line up.

Add to this, there’s a host of entertainment and activities throughout the day, perfect for the whole family. From Punch and Judy performances; perfect views of the RAF flypast; live music from swing band ‘Itchy Feet’; complimentary horse and carriage rides around Buckingham Palace, and a photobooth kitted out with enough tiaras to rival those of any princess, there’s something for everyone. Make sure not to miss the national anthem performed by Twickenham favourite, Alicia Lowes.
