Virgin Media O2 rolls out new Volt benefits for SMBs

Date:

Virgin Media O2 has launched a series of new Volt offers exclusively for small businesses – providing more speed, more data and more value at a time when the UK’s entrepreneurs need it most. Any customer taking a Voom broadband service from Virgin Media Business and an eligible O2 Small Business mobile tariff can now choose from free O2 4G back-up for their Voom Fibre broadband or a boost to the next Voom speed tier – and as O2 customers, they also have the option to double their mobile data for free, or receive a free 4G mobile hotspot at no extra cost.

Voom Fibre business broadband from Virgin Media enables businesses in a range of sectors – from home-office start-ups and retailers, to professional services and hospitality – to access worry-free connectivity. There are four Voom Fibre speed tiers to choose from, with download speeds of: 400Mbps, 600Mbps, 800Mbps and 1Gbps – with different upload speeds, service level agreements and static IP options to meet individual business’s needs. Volt customers can now choose to boost their speed tier for free, or opt for free 4G back-up.

Adding 4G back-up from O2’s mobile network to their Voom Fibre package means small businesses can stay connected to their customers, suppliers and their employees, even in the unlikely event of an interruption to their fixed broadband service. This unlimited O2 4G back-up will also automatically report any issues to Virgin Media’s UK-based care teams, who provide on-site tech support in up to 12 hours (with no need for customers to call in).

As well as choosing between a free broadband speed boost or 4G back-up, Volt customers can also opt for double O2 mobile data at no extra charge, or a free portable mobile hotspot. Portable 4G mobile hotspots from O2 allow small business owners and their employees to work from anywhere – providing a stable, plug-and-go mobile internet connection for laptops or tablets in minutes.

Gregg Pearce, Director of SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) at Virgin Media O2, comments: “Our Volt benefits are all about giving customers added value – and small businesses are no exception. As the cost-of-living crisis continues to bite, we know the UK’s entrepreneurs and their teams want more bang for their buck: staying connected with extra benefits to help them get the job done, whether that’s at home, in the office or on the go. Now, simply taking Voom broadband from Virgin Media Business and an O2 Small Business mobile tariff means small business customers can choose from even more exclusive Volt benefits – so they can concentrate on what really matters: doing business wherever and whenever they want.”

Customers activating Volt benefits can also access offers and experiences with Priority from O2: helping them do more of the things they love – from daily treats and experiences to early access to the most sought-after tickets in entertainment.
