The Two Citroën Suvs, C3 And C5 Aircross, Are Consolidated In Spain

The two models currently offered by Citroën in the SUV segment, the C3 and C5 Aircross, have managed to account for nearly a third of the brand’s total registrations in the Spanish market so far this year.

The possibilities of use that this type of vehicle offers on and off the road, as well as its large interior capacity, ease of access, the wide range of available engines or the purchase price, are the main reasons for purchase.

In the case of the Citroën C3 Aircross , manufactured at the Stellantis plant in Zaragoza and available with gasoline and diesel engines with powers between 110 and 130 HP and manual or automatic gearboxes, there are also the enormous possibilities of customization -with up to 70 combinations-, driving aids and financing conditions, as it is available from 16,800 euros in cash or for 125 euros per month (with entry of 5,059.34 ?? and last installment of 9,727.97 ??), if the option is chosen through installments, a modality preferred by 57% of customers.

In the case of the C5 Aircross, which offers great modularity, allows you to configure its interior with multiple options, reaching 720 liters of capacity without folding down the backs of the rear seats. In this model, the commercial offer starts at 23,290 ?? or for 185 euros per month (with an entry of 7,511.75 ?? and last installment of 12,615.8 ??), a figure that amounts to 36,300 ?? (without Moves III plan) or for 220 euros per month (with an entry of 1,988.04 ?? and a final installment of 19,702.42 ??, if you opt for the plug-in hybrid version). The offer includes 130 hp gasoline or diesel variants, in this case with 6-speed manual gearboxes or 8-speed automatic with electronic control), in addition to a 225 hp plug-in hybrid, which promises an approved consumption of 1, 4 l / 100 km in mixed cycle and driving in electric mode of up to 55 km,

In the case of models designed to circulate on the road or off asphalt, both offer a high driving position, a ground clearance – 17.5 cm, in the case of the C3 Aircross, and 23 cm in the C5 Aircross-, and they can count on the Grip Control system (except the plug-in hybrid version of the C5 Aircross), which acts on the front wheels to improve grip in difficult situations, such as sand, mud or snow. The Hill Assist Descent system is also available, which allows you to keep your speed stable on steep slopes.

As in other models of the brand, the Citroën Advanced Comfort program is used for some sections, such as space, brightness, seats with different foam densities or the progressive hydraulic shock absorbers – available exclusively on the C5 Aircross-, which do more comfortable life on board.

In terms of safety and driving aids, they offer the latest technology available: emergency braking system, blind spot control, involuntary lane change alert, Head Up Display or rear view camera. In the case of the Citroën C5 Aircross, some additional functionalities are added, such as Highway Driver Assist, adaptive cruise control, collision risk alert or trailer stability control, among others.

Under the umbrella “Made in Spain” you get an additional guarantee of 3 years or 100,000 km, “Premium” assistance, special financing conditions and the “Citroën Peace of Mind” functionality that allows you to return the car up to 6 months and 10,000 km if it is exchanged for another Citroën model.
